- between myself, my sister and our accountant, the Lakota

Because
of the number of health problems reported associated with
the consumption of artificial sweeteners we decided to add
links to sites that may be useful for individual research
to determine if they may be affecting your health - Doug Beiers.
(A family member was told by eye care professionals that she
was facing the loss of her eyesight. She did some online research
resulting in her quitting all diet pop "aspartame"
intake. Within a few weeks her eyesight returned to normal
and she did not experience any further eye pain. There is
currently a class action lawsuit in the US against the manufacturer
of Aspartame.)

Since
refined sugar is considered very unhealthy and most artificial
sweeteners harmful, here are links to sites offering information
about Xylitol. It has been around a long time, used by many
diabetics, tastes like sugar with no bitter aftertaste and
it also: promotes healthy teeth (reduces cavities), reduces
ear infections in many children, 1/3 less calories than sugar
and more... Xylitol is used in some brands of toothpaste which
would offer a choice to those concerned about ingesting Fluoride
when brushing.
(We have changed over to Xylitol based toothpaste exclusively
for a test period. Will let you know the results of our next
dental check-up - Doug Beiers)
